Making a belly cast is usually done 3-4 weeks before your due date, but multiple belly casts can be made to capture the miraculous changes in your body throughout your pregnancy. Photos can only capture a flat 2-dimensional image, but a belly cast captures this exciting transformation in a full 3 dimensions! You will treasure your belly cast forever.

Time bonding with baby during pregnancy really is fleeting (it just seems like forever)! After childbirth, life takes on a whole new dimension. Capturing a 3D replica of mom’s “baby belly” with a pregnant belly cast is a lifelong keepsake gift to keep forever.

The entire belly casting process takes about 45 minutes or so to complete in the comfort of your home. The actual time mom wears the plaster gauze bandages to form the belly cast is even less than that! When the mold is finished I will take it home with me to ‘touch up’ any weak areas and seal and prepare it for decorating. You can also glue beads, sequins, mirror, tile, rhinestones, feathers, dried or fabric flowers, paper, pieces of fabric, lace, mosaic, copies of the ultrasound, letters, poems etc. on your cast. If you paint the cast after the baby is born, you can even paint the baby’s feet or hand prints onto the cast. Your imagination is the limit!
